Last month, our specialist team at Swietelsky Rail Australia (SRA) was back in the field, successfully delivering the May 2025 ballast cleaning project in Muswellbrook for our valued client, ARTC.

Despite facing persistent heavy rain, our incredible crews powered through with focus and determination — safely and efficiently completing the entire 3,200m of planned scope, plus an additional 705m of extended works. That's a total of 3,905 metres of track cleaned — an outstanding 122% of the original target.

Set across an extensive 12km-long worksite, the project saw 22 machines operating in sync both on and off track, coordinated expertly by our crews and subcontractors to ensure smooth and safe delivery.

A Visit from Our Global Leadership
We were proud to welcome some very special guests to the site during delivery — Swietelsky AG CEO Peter Krammer, along with International Directors Bernhard Brandner and Manfred Rosenauer. As part of their busy Australian visit, the trio spent an afternoon on site witnessing firsthand the strength of the SRA Australia team in action and connecting with our workforce on the ground.
